If you’re craving live football, your last chance for several months can be found at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 16 at Aggie Memorial Stadium.

NMSU’s football team will hold its annual Spring Game to end spring practice and cast an eye toward summer conditioning.

Admission is free. The athletics department marketing staff will provide free, limited- edition posters as attendees enter the stadium.

The game will consist of four, 12-minute quarters with a running clock. There will be a five-minute halftime. AggieVision will broadcast the event with Jack Nixon on play-byplay and Preston Williams as the color analyst. The event will be available free of charge on nmstatesports.com.

The offense will wear crimson jerseys with white pants, while the defense will wear white jerseys with crimson pants. All quarterbacks will be in black jerseys and pants.

Following the scrimmage, players and coaches will be available to sign autographs.

NMSU inks offensive lineman

Jefferson Hagen, a 6-3, 300-pound offensive lineman, has signed a scholarship agreement for the NM State football team. He’ll join the Aggies for the fall of 2016.

Hagen played for Moorpark College for two years.

He was a two-time All-Conference Offensive Lineman in the National Northern Conference while at Moorpark College. He earned this honor in both 2014 and 2015.

The Thousand Oaks, California native was part of an offensive line that allowed his Moorpark College team to pass for 1,666 yards and rush for 1,991 yards in 2015. With his blocking, the offense scored 19 rushing touchdowns and 14 passing touchdowns.

Prior to Moorpark College, Hagen played at Westlake High School. As a junior, he helped his team win the CIF championship. That season, his team also advanced to the state championship. As a senior, Hagen earned Second Team All-Marmonte League Offensive Line honors.
