Photography club announces October ‘Boot Camp’ dates
The Doña Ana Photography Club announces the following October dates for its “Boot Camp” workshops. The club makes its home at the Southwest Environmental Center, 275 N. Main St.
Tuesday, Oct. 4 — DAPC program
“How to prepare and submit photos for the DAPC Photo-of-the-Year Competition” by DAPC president Erik Winter. Learn what makes a good photo at 7 p.m. Course is free and the public is invited. Info: www.daphotoclub.org
Saturday, Oct. 8
“Getting Your Camera Off Auto Mode.” Learn how ISO, aperture and shutter speed work together from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost for each workshop is $5 per class, or join DAPC for $15 and all five of the workshops are free.
