The City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department’s Keep Las Cruces Beautiful (KLCB), an affiliate of New Mexico Clean and Beautiful programs, will conduct a City Council District 6 "Team Up to Clean Up" from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 20, the city said in a news release.

Individuals and groups may register at https://forms.office.com/g/76hwVW7Uc5 to clean up an area in District 6 and KLCB will provide supplies.

Items NOT allowed in a solid waste container are medical waste; hot ashes or coals; tires or any vehicle parts, including car batteries; fluorescent light bulbs; large yard waste items, including tree stumps or trunks; concrete, bricks or rocks; toxic, combustible or hazardous materials; any construction or remodeling material; refrigerators or anything with refrigerant; animal carcasses.
