Electronic Caregiver employees volunteering

Posted

Earlier this year, Electronic Caregiver (ECG) started a volunteer program at ECG in which the company provides employees with opportunities each month to volunteer with various organizations in the community.

ECG gives employees 40 hours of paid volunteer time each year, allowing them to take time off during the work week to devote to a good cause, ECG said.

In November and December, for example, ECG employees spent a day helping to construct a home on Aurora Star Court for Mesilla Valley Habitat for Humanity (MVHH) and assisted Toys for Tots of Las Cruces in sorting donations that will be Christmas presents for children in need.

“Volunteers from Electronic Caregiver brought cheer to the Toys for Tots warehouse (Dec. 5), said Toys for Tots coordinator Patty Groth. “They distributed toys to many schools in our county and got a taste of shopping for large quantities of toys! We look forward to having them volunteer again!”

“These mission-minded volunteers who selflessly and willingly chose to collaborate with us are vital to our production on-site and our ability to further our impact here in our community,” said MVHH Executive Director April Estrada. “Community collaboration is key for all our nonprofits to be of service to our community members. We are truly thankful for every volunteer.”

ECG isa digital health technology and services company with offices in the Electronic Caregiver Tower, 506 S. Main St.
