Electronic Caregiver launches new company website in Spanish

Posted

Electronic Caregiver (ECG), the national health technology company headquartered in Las Cruces, has officially launched a Spanish-language version of its company website, ECG said in a recent news release.

“The new website was created to meet the needs of both local and national Spanish speakers who could benefit from Electronic Caregiver’s products and services,” the news release said.

“Spanish is the second most common language spoken in the United States, which is home to a large Hispanic population,” ECG said. “According to the National Hispanic Council on Aging (NHCOA) and the Administration for Community Living, the number of Hispanic older adults (age 65 and older) living in the U.S. continues to increase. By 2060, it is expected to reach 19.9 million, making up 21 percent of the older adult population (in the U.S.). This represents a significant and growing market for healthcare and elder care services, and ECG is rising to the occasion to ensure its technology is accessible to as many people as possible.”

ECG “specializes in TeleCare solutions that bridge the chasm between the doctor’s office and the patient’s home and help the elderly age in place,” the company said. ECG’s newest product is Addison Care, “a virtual caregiver that engages with and assists clients in managing their health.”
