Silver City MainStreet Project is excited to announce June’s Kick-Ass Entrepreneurs — Silver City (KAE-SC) Story Time featuring Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery. The Entrepreneur Story Time will take place at Power and Light Press, located in The Hub Plaza, 601 N Bullard St, Unit F, in downtown Silver City at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14. The event is free and open to the public.

Join the Silver City MainStreet Project at Power and Light Press for Story Time to learn about how the powerhouse couple, Teresa Dahl-Bredine and David Crosley, of Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery became Kick-Ass Entrepreneurs! Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery began in a remote lodge and restaurant, located near Lake Roberts, with a nano brewery and distillery in the garage basement. After finding success with this original model for Little Toad Creek, Teresa and David moved the brewery and distillery operations into a larger facility in Silver City and opened their downtown brewpub. Teresa and David also expanded into Las Cruces, opening another brewpub there. In 2020, they started distributing their products throughout New Mexico, and in 2022 and 2023 they expanded distribution of their canned cocktails to five other states. Come learn about all of this and their recent travels to Japan where there is interest and potential to export their canned cocktails to Asia!

Attendees are encouraged to arrive at 5:30 pm to enjoy complementary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages along with a bit of schmoozing before Story Time kicks off at 6 p.m. The story will be followed by time for more schmoozing.

KAE-SC provides entrepreneurs of all ages and stages, across all industries, and throughout Grant County the opportunity to share their stories with an engaged audience of local fans, curious community members, and potential partners. Entrepreneurs share the inside story, including what worked for them and what resources and people helped them along the way. Each month the approximately two-hour event is hosted at different venues providing the hosts the opportunity to share their stories, as well.

Everyone is welcome at KAE-SC. The fun, social format provides attendees with the opportunity to mingle, network, and meet new friends with similar interests. The events are a great way to learn about local businesses and enjoy different host businesses.
