Luminarias honor cancer patients

Posted

Luminarias burn brightly on the New Mexico State University campus, as the lights of Aggie Memorial Stadium shine in the background, Monday, Oct. 17. A variety of people (inset) turned out to take in the sight as the luminarias were set up to honor those who’ve battled breast cancer, and kick off Pink Week on campus to bring attention to breast cancer and raise money for research. The NMSU football team will wear pink jerseys in its annual Pink Game against Georgia Southern at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, at Aggie Memorial Stadium.

Fans are encouraged to wear pink as well.
