They defeated the Rocky Mountain ThunderKatz 22-0 to win the Pacific Region of the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) Division 3 playoffs. The Banitas’ defense “continues to be one of the best in the division with another shutout performance,” said Banitas Coach Jamar Cotton. The Banitas advance to the WFA’s Conference Championship at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 8, in Cloudcroft, against the Zydeco Spice from Lafayette, Louisiana. Tickets are $5.
