It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we mourn the passing of Roger George Mosier, a cherished member of our community, beloved uncle, and friend to many. Roger passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024.

Born on April 4, 1937 to Fern Samuel and Edith Mosier in Chicago, IL, Roger grew up in Michigan with a passion for the outdoors and a love for life that he carried with him throughout his years. His infectious smile and kind heart made him a beacon of light in the lives of those he touched.

Roger’s professional journey was marked by his relentless dedication and ability to communicate in a kind and understanding manner. As a sales professional in the electrical contracting industry, he made significant contributions that left an indelible mark in his field. But beyond his professional accolades, Roger will be most remembered for his boundless generosity, his unwavering integrity, and his ability to inspire those around him.

He found boundless joy in raising, showing and training multiple dogs throughout his life. Roger’s greatest pride was his Gordon Setter, Katie. He was well known in the AKC (American Kennel Club) community. He was a pillar of strength, love, and guidance in our lives, and his legacy will continue to live on.

Service arrangements have been entrusted to Terrazas Funeral Chapels. A Memorial to celebrate Roger’s life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. The Service will be held at The Doña Ana County Cowboy Church, located at 1600 S. Valley Dr., Las Cruces, NM. Pastor Rice will be officiating with lunch immediately following provided by Dickerson’s Catering. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.

Roger’s life was a blessing and he was loved beyond words and will be truly missed. He specifically asked that we thank family and friends for their many thoughtful and kind gestures throughout his life.
