The Young at Heart Chorus will present a free concert featuring old, familiar songs at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at the Good Samaritan auditorium, 3011 Buena Vida Circle.

There is no charge to attend the concert, which is open to the public.

Songs on the one-hour choral program include “Carolina in the Morning,” “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “It’s a Small World,” “Sixteen Tons,” “"Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" and many more.

Young at Heart entertains residents of assisted living facilities and nursing homes in the Las Cruces area and has been in continuous operation since 1972, with the name of the group, the director, piano accompanist and venues changing through the years.
