Agave Gallery welcomes new artist whose focus is on nature

Agave Artist Gallery, 2250 Calle de San Albino in Mesilla, is welcoming a new member, Carol Eastman, the gallery said in a news release.

Eastman has an advanced degree in art education with an emphasis on photography and printmaking. Her talents as a teacher of photography and art education were on display at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, El Paso Community College, The Museum School at El Paso Museum of Art and other regional institutions.

Her documentary work is held by Texas Tech Medical School, the El Paso Holocaust Museum & Study Center, and in the Special Collections at the University of Texas at El Paso, according to https://agaveartists.com/caroleastman-bio-page.

Eastman’s new workflow designs merge numerous photographs and artwork into one image with a focus on nature.

Agave Gallery is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
