Diana Peru, executive chair of the Ambassadors of the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce, presents a $500 donation check to Doug Boberg of the Dress the Child program, sponsored by the Rio Grande Rotary Club. Other organizations receiving like amounts from the program were Casa De Peregrinos childcare and educational services, Mesilla Valley Community of Hope, Las Cruces Public Schools Migrant Education Program, Mesilla Valley Hospice and LCPS Project Link, which provides educational and other services to students struggling with homelessness.
