Art Market coming to Cafe de Mesilla

LAS CRUCES - Café de Mesilla, 2190 New Mexico Highway 28 (Avenida de Mesilla), hosts The Art Market, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.

More than a dozen artists from the Las Cruces Arts Association (LCAA) and their friends will show and sell a variety of items they have created, including art prints, small paintings, jewelry, ornaments, stationery and other hand-crafted items.

The Art Market will occupy the outdoor patio surrounding the café, a coffee and gift shop located in an historic adobe building.

Participating artists include Margaret Bernstein, Karen Currier, Jack LeSage, Noel Sandino, Karen Granado, Seneca Reyna, Marcia Weidler, Rosario Jeremias, Susan Bender, Gary Bender, Anna Salom, Gabriele Teich, Carrie Greer, Jan Minow, Karen Zibert, Jim Moore, Dean Lively and Irma Lee.

LCAA was organized in the early 1960s. It welcomes all artists and art enthusiasts to attend LCAA monthly meetings, 1:30 p.m. the third Sunday of each month at Cruces Creatives, 205 E Lohman Ave.
