According to the American Library Association, “the theme for National Library Week 2022, ‘Connect with Your Library,’ promotes the idea that libraries are places to not only get connected to technology by using broadband, computers, and other resources, but is also a place where people can connect with media, programs, ideas, and classes – in addition to books. Most importantly, libraries also connect communities. Overall, the theme is an explicit call to action – an invitation for communities to join, visit, or advocate for their local libraries.” The community is encouraged to visit the library, follow us on social media, and include the hashtag #mylibrary in your social media posts. This information can be made available in alternate formats by calling 575/528-4102 or 575/528-4008 (TTY).
