Branigan Library has ‘Frances through the Ages’ virtual tour in May, June

Thomas Branigan Memorial Library (TBML), 200 E. Picacho Ave., will host an in-person discussion group on The Great Courses video series “Great Tours: France through the Ages,” at 3:30 p.m. Thursdays, May 5 and 19 and June 16, in the library’s second-floor conference room.

“Great Tours: France through the Ages” covers the past, present and future of Paris, exploring the castles, wars, beverage industry and art throughout France, the City of Las Cruces said in a news release.

The episodes can be found at https://lascruces.kanopy.com/video/great-tours-france-through-ages. You can access the Kanopy streaming service with your library card.

If you don’t already have one, you can apply for a free TBML library card if you reside in Doña Ana County and have a valid photo ID and current address or a valid photo ID and proof of address, such as a utility bill or lease. New Mexico residents who live outside Doña Ana County can receive a free library card with a valid photo ID, proof of address and a library card from where they live.
