Brokerage firm opens Santa Teresa location

Posted

Pedraza Customhouse Brokers, a customs brokerage firm based in El Paso with more 30 years of experience worldwide, will occupy 8,000 square feet of existing space along the high-demand industrial corridor on Airport Road, adjacent to the Doña Ana County International Jetport in Santa Teresa, New Mexico Partnership (NMP) said in a November news release.

Pedraza’s new Santa Teresa location “will be the company’s first location outside of their home state and the firm’s reputation for helping some of the largest importers in the U.S. navigate NAFTA means they will play a pivotal role in advancing hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of global commerce,” NMP said.

In addition to the El Paso location, Pedraza also has offices in Laredo, Texas. The firm was founded in 1989 and is “a full-service national customs brokerage focused on ports of trade between the U.S. and Mexico/Latin America,” the news release said.

“We are very excited to be opening a warehouse in Santa Teresa,” Pedraza CHB Vice President Mary Frances Allen said. “We foresee maintained growth at the Santa Teresa Port of Entry and with it a stronger need for our customs brokerage and warehousing capabilities.”
