Welcome to our new web site!
To give our readers a chance to experience all that our new website has to offer, we have made all content freely avaiable, through October 1, 2018.
During this time, print and digital subscribers will not need to log in to view our stories or e-editions.
Close readers of The Bulletin’s Business section know that we seek out business stories during these unprecedented times by allowing local businesses to complete a survey, add a photo or two and send it to us for development.
Las Cruces resident Deb Rogers saw the survey and sent us another cool idea through which we can seek submissions. At her suggestion, it’ll be called “Everyday Heroes.”
The idea will be to profile people in the community who go about their day-to-day lives taking care of the thankless jobs that make life a bit easier for the rest of us.
Examples Rogers sent in are “the longest serving volunteer at the food bank, the person who cleans up the banks of the Rio Grande, a driver for one of the non-emergency transport services in town, a courtroom interpreter – and so on.”
Limit answers to 150 words or fewer per question, and please include a photo of your nominee with your submission. If there are other people in the photo, identify them by full name and job title from left to right.
What is the person’s full name and job title?
What is the person’s place of employment?
Describe this person’s personality and work ethic.
Describe a typical interaction with this person.
Why, specifically, did you nominate this person?
What else should Bulletin readers know about this person?
How can this person be reached (email address is preferred)?
Email submissions, along with your name and contact information as a nominator, to email@example.com.
