Chamber names healthcare award winners

The Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce named six winners of its fourth annual 2020 Healthcare Awards, announced late last week.

The winners are

  • Compassion award: Intensive care unit, MountainView Regional Medical Center;
  • Emerging Leader award: Taylor Garrison, Advanced Care Hospital of Southern New Mexico;
  • Impact award: Amy Carter, MountainView Medical Group;
  • Innovation award: Dr. David Keeley, Electronic Caregiver;
  • Mayor's Legacy award: William T. Baker, DO; MountainView Regional Medical Center;
  • Teamwork award: Electronic Caregiver D3-Innovation, Electronic Caregiver.

The awards “recognize the tremendous contribution the healthcare industry gives to our community,” according to www.lascruces.org. “These various awards recognize workers in the industry, to include

physicians, techs, nurses and support services, such as medical records, case managers,

therapists, veterinarian services, environmental services and administration.”
