From 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, May 28, Cruces Creatives, 205 E. Lohman Ave., will support creativity and raise funds by offering surplus tools and supplies for sale to the public at discounted prices, the nonprofit makerspace said in a news release.

Available items will include sewing equipment, woodworking tools, classroom supplies and much more. All proceeds support the charitable missions of Cruces Creatives.

Cruces Creatives, founded in 2018, “works to foster economic development, further education, support the arts, protect the environment, strengthen social connections and advance science and technology by connecting people with the tools, training, and community to make practically anything,” the nonprofit said. It “provides cooperative access to tools including a full woodshop, an electronics lab, laser cutters, 3D printers, CNC machines, vinyl cutters, specialized software and computer workstations, a textile lab, an audio recording studio, a digital photography and videography lab, a project-based kids classroom, a bicycle repair shop and more.”
