DOÑA ANA COMMUNITY COLLEGE

DACC participating in donation drive for dogs and cats

Posted

Doña Ana Community College (DACC) will be one of several drop-off locations throughout Las Cruces accepting donations to help local dogs and cats at two of the area’s animal organizations.

Donations received will be distributed to the Animal Service of the Mesilla Valley (ASCMV) and ACTion Programs for Animals (APA).

DACC hosted a live radio broadcast Nov. 18 to kick the drive off, and will continue to have donation boxes at its East Mesa campus, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd., through the second week of December.

Donations will also be accepted at Bravo Mic Communications, 101 Perkins Drive, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday throughout the month of December, DACC said.

The list of needed items by ASCMV and APA includes used, but clean towels and blankets, dog food, cat foot, leashes and collars of all sizes and toys for dogs and cats.

Adoptable pets can be viewed at https://ascmv.org/adoptions/ and https://apalascruces.org/adopt/.
