A public graduation ceremony for 21 Doña Ana Fire Rescue cadets will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 28, in the auditorium of the Doña Ana Community College East Mesa campus.
Throughout the 24-week academy, cadets earned certifications in Hazmat awareness and operations, emergency vehicle driving, vehicle extrication, wildland firefighting and basic emergency medical technician and EMT training.
Following graduation, new firefighters will complete a one-year probation period in the field.
