Early absentee-ballot, in-person voting continues

The New Mexico Secretary of State’s office said 3,241 Doña Ana County voters had voted early in the June 2 primary as of Tuesday morning, May 18, including 2,055 Democrats (1,500 by absentee ballot, 555 in person), 1,180 Republicans (351 absentee, 829 in person) and six Libertarians (one absentee, five in person). Statewide, 34,067 Democrats (28,739 absentee, 5,328 in person), 22,590 Republicans (12,892 absentee, 9,698 in person) and 175 Libertarians (135 absentee, 40 in person) had voted early.
