The annual El Paso Comic Con returns to the El Paso Convention Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza, El Paso, on April 11 – 13, promising an action-packed weekend for all ages.
This year's event brings an exciting lineup of guest stars, activities and immersive experiences for fans. Attendees can look forward to Q&A panels with featured guests and autograph signings, trivia contests, a video game truck, the El Paso Lego Users Group and free board games to enjoy throughout the weekend. The event will also feature a Lucha League wrestling showcase, bringing high-energy, live action entertainment to the convention floor.
Among the special guests who will be making appearances over the weekend are Brent Spiner (Star Trek: Next Generation), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Patrick Warburton (The Tick), Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy), and Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil).
A special entrance giveaway includes free capes and masks for the first 300 kids each day. Those looking for a challenge can test their skills in the Arkham Nightmare escape room, an interactive experience that will push problem-solving skills to the limit.
Cosplayers may enter the Adult Costume Contest, where participants can compete for cash prizes and show off their incredible creativity. On Saturday, a string orchestra will perform pop culture music during the first two hours.
To ensure an inclusive environment for all guests, El Paso Comic Con will introduce a Low Sensory Impact Opening on Sunday– an exclusive early entry hour designed for attendees who prefer a relaxed convention experience. This special hour is sponsored by Mike Dee’s Big Adventure.
Event hours are 5-9 p.m., Friday, April 11; 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday, April 12; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday, April 13. The Low Sensory Impact entry time is 9 a.m. Sunday, for those approved by Mike Dee’s Big Adventure.
Tickets are on sale now, with VIP passes ($150), Weekend Passes ($80), and single day passes: Friday ($25), Saturday ($35) and Sunday ($30). Children’s 3-12 years old are $5 all weekend. Military passes are $75 for the weekend pass, $20 on Friday, $30 on Saturday, and $25 on Sunday.
