El Paso Summer Musical Theatre Intensive presents “A Million Dreams: A Collection of Songs that Celebrate the Dreamer in All of Us …” at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 9, and 2 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Las Cruces Community Theatre, 313 N. Main St. downtown.

Tickets are $17 for adults; $14 for seniors, students and military service members; and $10 for children. Tickets are available online at www.LCCTNM.org.

The show is “a devised musical revue that explores that rarest and most powerful of places, the space where we dream,” according to a news release. The show “finds its heartbeat in the best music of Broadway and beyond and its roots in cabaret, evoking a sense of intimacy and shared experiences.

A Million Dreams is the third collaborative production for the Youth Opera of El Paso and Actorspace’s El Paso Summer Musical Theatre Intensive. Music direction and vocal coaching is provided by Youth Opera of El Paso Artistic Director/Founder Kimberley Wolfenbarger-Nakamoto, with stage direction and choreography by Actorspace Artistic Director/Founder Greg Thompson (who is a guest director at Las Cruces Community Theatre). Pianist Patricia Ann Provencio (UTEP Dinner Theatre) provides accompaniment. Production coordinators Courtney Alyce-Curtis and David Herring round out the 2022 production team.
