November 4, 5:30 - 7 p.m. (MT) - Community Roundtable: Migrant Farmworkers' Experiences
Farmworkers make up an important part of our Borderland community, and are critical members of our nation. Learn more about and engage with the farmworker experience and the work being done for equality and protection of farmworkers here in our community. This event will be held on Zoom. To attend, register by emailing Kayla at kmyers@las-cruces.org.

November 21, 1 - 2:30 p.m. (MT) - Poster-Making for Youth
Be inspired by the classic designs of protest posters made during the height of the fight for farmworkers’ rights! You will receive a kit with stencils and poster paper and can attend the workshop to draw and create in community. To attend this online workshop and receive a to-go kit, register by Monday, November 16 by emailing Kayla at kmyers@las-cruces.org.

December 2, 5:30 - 7 p.m. (MT) - Community Roundtable with College Assistance for Migrants Program (CAMP) Youth Council
Learn with youth that are migrant and seasonal farmworkers, dairyworkers, and ranchworkers as well as students and leaders on the New Mexico State University campus. This event will be held on Zoom. To attend, register by emailing Kayla at kmyers@las-cruces.org.

December 4, 6 - 7 p.m. (MT) - Dolores Huerta: Revolution in the Fields
Dolores Huerta herself will present her powerful story and legacy of bringing revolution to the fields. You can view the presentation by using this link: Rebrand.ly/DoloresHuerta.

Dolores Huerta: Revolution in the Fields / Revolución en los Campos shares the compelling story of legendary activist and leader Dolores Huerta and the farm workers movement of the 1960s and 1970s. It features reproductions of historic and personal photographs, and graphic elements as well as a free, user-friendly, mobile tour smart phone app featuring interviews with Huerta, and a short bilingual documentary video. Dolores Huerta: Revolution in the Fields / Revolución en los Campos is organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service in collaboration with the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery. This exhibition received Federal support from the Latino Initiatives Pool, administered by the Smithsonian Latino Center.
