The Farmers and Crafts Market of Las Cruces is holding a special Christmas Eve market from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24, on Main Street in Downtown Las Cruces.
Main Street, from Bowman Avenue to the roundabout near City Hall, will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 24. The market is being held Friday instead of Saturday in observance of the Christmas holiday. The market will also be closed on Saturday Jan. 1, 2022, for New Year’s Day.
During the Christmas Eve Market, shoppers will be able to buy last-minute holiday gifts, enjoy delicious food, wear ugly sweaters and visit with Santa. Santa is planning to be in front of the Rio Grande Theatre beginning at 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
