Memorial Medical Center’s (MMC) Art Initiative Exhibit and SweetHeart Expo will open Sunday, Feb. 23, as part of Las Cruces’ month-long For the Love of Art Month celebration.
The Art Initiative Exhibit will be on display 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, in the lobby of the MMC administration building, 2450 S. Telshor Blvd.
MMC has invited more than 20 artists from Las Cruces and other New Mexico communities to show and sell their art during the Art Initiative Exhibit, which will be the initial exhibit of selected art for MMC’s 2020 Art Initiative to put art throughout MMC.
The art show is part of MMC’s sixth annual MMC Cardiac Sweetheart Expo, going on in the nearby conference rooms. MMC providers and staff will be on hand to offer information about the hospital’s heart and rehab programs.
Refreshments and crafts for all ages will be provided. Because space is limited for the expo, RSVP to the 24-hour reservation line at 800-424-DOCS (3627).
