The Dance Eclectic (TDE) will perform the Fringe Dance Festival 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Black Box Theatre, 430 N. Main St. downtown. TDE dancers will be joined by Picacho Middle School dancers as well as students of Georgina Armendariz at Odd Lab, a performing group based in El Paso and Las Cruces.

The festival will include performances of “all new pieces that have never been seen before,” said TDE Creative Director Morgan Rivera. It will also include a preview of TDE’s "A Mad Mad Tea Party," which will be performed this summer.

The dance festival will “showcase a wealth of talent in both choreography and dancing from the members of The Dance Eclectic and dancers from the borderland,” Rivera said.

Tickets are $12-$15 and are available at www.tktassistant.com/Tix/?u=NSTC/ and at the door before each performance.

This is TDE’s seventh Fringe Festival, which changed its name from Dancing in the Desert to the Fringe Festival in 2019, Rivera said. The concert was virtual in 2020.
