LAS CRUCES COMMUNITY THEATRE

Harvey for the win!

Posted

Las Cruces Community Theatre won three awards in the Las Cruces Bulletin’s Best of the Mesilla Valley 2021: Best Live Theatre Venue, Best Entertainment Venue and Best Theatre Group. With the awards, and also holding Brandon Brown’s award for Best Actor and Mark Medoff’s (he wrote his first play, “The Wager,” for LCCT in 1967) award as Best Local Historical Figure, are, left to right, LCCT board members Jessie Ortega, Jordan Moreno, Norman Lewis, Bob Diven (who also won Bulletin’s Best Artist award) and Janet Beatty-Payne, board president. At far right is Harvey, the rabbit who will star alongside Diven in LCCTs 2021 production of “Harvey.”
