Hatch Valley girls win, Mesilla Valley Christian boys lose as state playoffs start

The boys and girls basketball state championship tournaments kicked off on Monday night and will continue this week at different campus sites around the state.

The championship games will be played Thursday through Saturday at the Pit at the University of New Mexico.
