Darth Vader helps the New Mexico State University cheerleading squad throw out miniature basketballs to the crowd at NMSU’s men’s basketball game Sunday, Dec. 13 against Wyoming at the Pan American Center. NMSU deemed the game “Star Wars Night” and many fans dressed up as their favorite characters from the movie series. The new move, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” opens Friday, Dec. 18, on multiple screens at Cineport 10 and Telshor 12 in Las Cruces. For more photos from the Aggie game, see page A28.
