House swears in Rep. Art De La Cruz

The newest member of the New Mexico House of Representatives, Rep. De La Cruz


On February 3, former Bernalillo County Commissioner Art De La Cruz (D-Albuquerque) was sworn in as the newest member of the New Mexico House of Representatives. Rep. De La Cruz, who was born and raised in Albuquerque’s South Valley will represent House District 12, taking the seat recently vacated by Brittney Barreras.

“I am incredibly proud to represent the South Valley in Santa Fe,” said Rep. De La Cruz. “There is a lot to accomplish in a short amount of time but I am ready to get to work.”
