The Basilica of San Albino is a three-minute walk from the Taylor home and has been central to the Taylor family life for over 73 years. A rosary will be said at the Basilica of San Albino in Mesilla, at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. the Basilica on Friday, Feb. 24. Funeral services will be livestreamed on the Getz Funeral Home Facebook page. Getz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Out of honor and respect for Taylor and his family, the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has made the decision to move its 2023 Annual Gala & Choice Awards to Friday, March 3 (originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 23).
