It’s back and better than ever!

After taking a year off because of the pandemic, La Casa, Inc. domestic violence organization will host its 30th annual Holiday Bazaar, Friday through Sunday, Dec. 3-5 at the Las Cruces Convention Center, 680 E. University Ave.

Hours are 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5.

Tickets are $6 for one day and $15 for all three days. Tickets are available at www.lacasainc.org and at the door.

The nonprofit expects to have 90 booths at the bazaar, including many first-time vendors.

Participating artisans “have gorgeous pieces ready for the show,” La Casa said.

Expect to find metal yard décor, dog accessories, fine jewelry, funky jewelry, photography, woodwork, paintings, food, home décor, glass art, candy, pecan gifts, spices and salsa and much more.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from this beloved event go directly to La Casa to support its comprehensive services.

La Casa is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2021. The program provides emergency shelter (which is open 24/7 and houses up to 90 people), transitional housing, immigration services, civil and legal services, counseling, education and prevention to hundreds each year. In 2020, La Casa served 482 people, including 186 women, 24 men and 272 children.
