The Las Cruces High boys basketball team moved another step closer to achieving its goal of reaching the state 5A championship game for the third year in a row.
The Bulldawgs, 30-0 overall, beat visiting Sandia High 74-49 Wednesday, March 9 to advance to the 5A final four this weekend in Albuqerque.
Las Cruces, the top seed, will face No. 5 Atrisco Heritage Academy at 2 p.m. Friday, March 11, at the UNM Pit.
