The Las Cruces Innovation and Industrial Park (LCIIP) has received Quest Site Solutions Industrial Site certification, Quest said in a July news release.
Quest is a national site selection firm specializing in assisting companies with deciding where to locate new facilities, the news release said. It also helps states, communities and landowners prepare their industrial property for development through their site readiness services.
“The most stringent site readiness endeavor is site certification, which LCIIP achieved,” Quest said. “Site certification is a designation that a property meets or exceeds specific criteria for industrial development.”
Quest said properties it evaluates “undergo detailed analysis, similar to what is required during a site selection process, to ensure they are ready for development. A property that has achieved certification has a wealth of information available, which reduces the risk for prospects and speeds up the decision timeframe.”
“We are honored to have received this recognition that shows this site exceeds criteria for industrial development,” said City Manager Ifo Pili. “With more than 400 acres ready to be developed, our proximity to both I-10 and I-25 and easy access to the airport, this is a prime industrial park in southwestern New Mexico. We look forward to meeting with site selectors and showcasing all that Las Cruces and the Las Cruces Innovation & Industrial Park has to offer.”
