SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE

Locally owned Radio Stations Step Up to “Stuff the Bus” for Las Cruces Public Schools

Posted

Bravo Mic Communications’ family of radio stations and Nusenda Credit Union are using the “Power of We” for their annual Community Giveback initiative. And they’re returning to their “School Supply Drive” roots for Las Cruces Public Schools.

“We’re back and ready to stuff an actual school bus full of school supplies thanks to STS of New Mexico. We’ll have free bottles of Pepsi for those who stops by while supplies last, Texas Roadhouse will be joining the fun with free appetizer cards, and we’ll get everyone signed up to win tickets to the Crayola Experience in Chandler, Arizona.” explains Bravo Mic Communications Operations Manager, Lyndsey Kalson.

“Every year we look forward to helping our kids in Cruces. This year is no different.” said Ricky Tarin, Program Director for Magic 104.9

Friday July 30th at the Mesilla Valley Mall East Entrance, all 5 radio stations under Bravo Mic Communications will broadcast live on location with LCPS to collect school supply donations for “Stuff the Bus” from 8am to 5pm. 101 Gold, Zia Country 99.5, Magic 104.9, La Equis 96.7 and News Talk 92.7/1450 AM KOBE will share stories from our kids, parents, teachers and community throughout the day and share donation links and donation “thank you’s” live on-air and online at lascrucestoday.com, thanks to our amazing community sponsors and partners.

All donations raised are going back directly to the Las Cruces Public School district.

What will donations be going toward?

  • Nearly 25,000 students are enrolled within the Las Cruces Public School district
