Medals honor Cruces Creatives for community support

Two Sons of the American Revolution Gadsden Chapter past presidents presented chapter medals to the co-founders of Cruces Creatives for their service to the community in making and distributing masks during the pandemic. Current chapter Secretary/Treasurer Don Williams, left, and Chaplain Dave Curtiss, right, presented the medals to Cruces Creatives co-founder and board member Jon Simmons, who accepted them on behalf of himself and the nonprofit’s other co-founders. The Gadsden Chapter is the only SAR chapter that has its own, unique, medal approved by SAR national headquarters for chapter issue, Williams said.
