Memorial Medical Center (MMC) Chief Financial Officer Steve Winegeart has been named 2019
CFO of the Year by LifePoint Health, the hospital conglomerate that operates MMC and 87 other hospital campuses nationwide.
“Steve is an operations-focused and solutions-driven financial leader who understands the unique role he plays in both meeting operational challenges head-on to help ensure a solid bottom line and collaborating with other departments to help enhance the patient experience,” said Conrad Deese, senior vice president of operations and CFO for LifePoint Health. “We are proud to honor the tremendous impact his leadership has made at Memorial and in the Las Cruces community with this prestigious recognition.”
Under Winegeart’s leadership, MMC achieved significant financial and operational milestones in 2019, strengthening the hospital’s ability to provide high quality care close to home for Las Cruces and the surrounding region. His accomplishments also contributed to MMC’s receipt of LifePoint’s 2019 companywide High Five Award for operational excellence – the highest honor a LifePoint hospital can receive.
