After 12 years of serving Mexican cuisine to the community, Los Mariachis restaurant at 754 N. Motel Blvd. will close its doors April 28. Its location at 5600 Bataan Memorial West will remain open.
“We are incredibly grateful to all of our loyal patrons for their support over the past 12 years, and we would like to express our sincere thanks for making our restaurant a part of your lives,” said a member of the Nuñez family, owners of Los Mariachis.
According to real estate broker Eli Berger, owners of a new restaurant will fill the space on Motel Boulevard. The new restaurant will be called El Chiple, and is expected to open sometime in May.
In addition, Berger has secured a new, as yet undisclosed, location for a Los Mariachis express location to open in 2024.
“We are committed to serving the community and providing them with the same great food and service that they have come to expect from us,” said the Nuñez family. “We look forward to serving our customers for many more years to come.”
