New Mexico Senior Olympics wants to hire temps

New Mexico Senior Olympics is looking to hire temporary office assistants to work in the state Senior Olympics game headquarters at Corbett Center on the New Mexico State University campus in Las Cruces May 31-June 13.

Full-time temps are needed for 14 days of work to answer phones; provide game information, including event changes; typing, filing, copying, sorting, stuffing, folding and packing; answering questions about games schedules; inputting and collecting game results; selling merchandise; supervising volunteers at information tables; handling game protests; being event runners on campus; assisting game registrars; and packing up the office at the conclusion of the games.

The pay is $15 to $20 an hour, depending on experience.

The state Summer Games are June 8-11 in Las Cruces.
