Posted

“All Aboard the Ag Wagon” is a new educational program at the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum.

The program is 10 a.m.to noon every Saturday in the museum’s theater. With a different theme each week, a variety of activities are planned for children ages 6 to 12. Adults are welcome to attend or participate as well.

There are monthly and weekly themes that will continue through 2022. The theme for January is Birds, with upcoming programs scheduled for Jan. 15, 22 and 29. Winter on the Farm is the theme for February, with programs Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26; and Agriculture is featured in March, with programs on March 5, 12, 19 and 26.

Each participant will receive a passport booklet and stickers for the booklet will be handed out each Saturday. The activities are tied to each week’s theme.

Regular museum admission is required to participate in the program -- $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and $3 for children ages 4-17.

The program is made possible with the support of the Friends of the New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum.

The museum is located at 4100 Dripping Springs Road.
