NMSU collaborates with New Mexico Workforce Connection on Restart New Mexico

New Mexico Workforce Connection in collaboration with New Mexico State University’s Office of Experiential Learning will host the Restart New Mexico Career Fair Tuesday, May 4. This virtual career event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. via Handshake. New Mexico employers looking to recruit talented candidates can register in Handshake as well as set up schedules to meet with candidates individually or group sessions.
 
New Mexico Workforce Connection will offer a number of virtual workshops during the fair at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The workshops will include Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Adult Program, WIOA Youth Program, WIOA Employment Services, LiftFund, Workers Compensation Association and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Advance registration is required for the workshops.
 
Guests must complete an online interest form and create a Handshake account to access the virtual career fair. Handshake is accessible at https://app.joinhandshake.com/login. It is recommended that participants research potential employers in advance and dress professionally for the fair.
