NMSU to host Career Connections Fair Feb. 1-2 for students, alumni and community

Posted

New Mexico State University’s Office of Experiential Learning will host the 17th annual Career Connections Fair, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 1-2, in the third-floor ballrooms of Corbett Center Student Union on campus.

The fair is open to NMSU students and alumni and community members.

The fair “launches NMSU’s spring employer recruitment season,” said NMSU Director of Experiential Learning Patricia Leyba. “In collaboration with a number of employers across the U.S., Career Connections offers employers the opportunity to recruit graduates for employment as well as students to participate in internships for summer and fall.”

With the event, NMSU resumes in-person career fairs, Leyba said, “as both employers and students have been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to connect face to face.”

Students, alumni and guests are encouraged to register for the fair at oel.nmsu.edu, where they can also see the most current list of employers attending the fair.
