Police are investigating after they said a 22-year-old drove into the Imperial Sky Motel, killing a 55-year-old woman and injuring a 59-year-old man.
The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 6 at 1865 W. Picacho Ave. Police said the 22-year-old was driving a Chevrolet Suburban and was attempting to leave the complex when it drove into the building.
“The identity of the victim will not be released until next of kin is notified,” police said.
The 22-year-old was also not named in the news release. Police said he stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
