Online virtual parade celebrates real heroes

Posted

Entries are in, judging is done and now it is time to present the “Celebrating our Heroes” Virtual Electric Light Parade. The online event can be accessed at any time beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 4 by going to the City’s Facebook page @CityofLasCruces or on the city’s website at www.las-cruces.org/FourthofJuly

The “Celebrating our Heroes” virtual parade, honoring all those who are helping us get through the Covid-19 pandemic, was partially created by community members who sent a photo entry as part of the Virtual Electric Light Parade tribute contest. The virtual parade features all entries, showcases the winners, and honors essential local heroes.
