The Optimist Club of Las Cruces is extending the 2021 Virtual Tour de Optimism through the month of May, which is National Bike Month.

A new feature has been added to the Bikereg.com registration that allows participants to record their mileage during the event.
The Tour de Optimism is one of the Optimist Club of Las Cruces’ primary fundraising events.
Riders can choose a ride and head out on their own or in a Covid-19 safe group.
The club is offering a free neck gaiter to the first 80 registrants. There is also a photo contest, with rules posted at www.lascrucesoptimistclub.org. There are six photo categories, with prizes to be awarded to the winner in each: best urban photo; best landscape photo; best mural/bicycle photo; most optimistic photo; best-dressed rider photo; and most creative rider selfie.
