‘Price is Right Live’ returning to El Paso

An interactive stage show based on the long-running CBS television game show, “The Price is Right,” is returning to the Plaza Theatre in downtown El Paso in 2025, and the theatre says now is the time for potential ticket-buyers to “come on down.”

“The Price is Right Live” is a touring stage show promoted as family-friendly and, while it is not televised or hosted by Drew Carey, the producers promises “an array of fantastic prizes, from appliances and electronics to dream vacations and even a brand-new car.”

The show is hosted by game show host and radio personality Todd Newton. Newton won an Emmy award in 2012 in the outstanding game show host category for the cable television show, “Family Game Night.” 

Producers say that over 20 years, the touring show has distributed over $15 million in cash and prizes.

Selected contestants play games for prizes, with opportunities for spectators to win prizes from their seat, according to a news release. Further information is available at PriceIsRightLive.com including various packages and price ranges.

The show will play for two nights at the Route 66 Casino in Albuquerque, per the show’s website, and then present is El Paso show at 7 p.m. on March 9, 2025. The Plaza Theatre stated in a news release that ticket sales are open now via ElPasoLive.com. As shown on the website, tickets range from $35 to $65, with VIP packages costing up to $215.50.
