Roadrunner Parkway lane closure
A lane closure will occur Monday, Sept. 18-Monday, Sept. 25, on Roadrunner Parkway from north Frontier Drive to Desert Hills Elementary School.
The lane closure may impact RoadRUNNER Transit Route 3.
Volt Inc. will be working along Roadrunner Parkway as part of a wire permit.

University Avenue water outage
University Avenue residents and businesses between Espina Street and Knox Street will experience a water outage from 11 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14-3 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15.
Adjacent areas also may be affected. If water on your street is scheduled to be turned off, crews will post a door hanger notice a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
A-Mountain Construction, under contract with the city, will tie-in a new water system as part of the University Avenue waterline and mill/overlay project.
Once service is restored, residents may notice discolored water due to iron, manganese, and calcium deposits. Although the water is safe to drink, the city recommends waiting for the water to become clear before washing laundry.
The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, residents should flush all faucets in their house for five minutes.
If the discoloration remains, call the city at 575-526-0500 for assistance.
