New Mexico State University ROTC cadets held a 24-hour vigil to remember the 13 service members killed in the Kabul, Afghanistan, airport attacks on Aug. 26.
Cadets began their vigil at midnight on Thursday, Sept 2 and finished at midnight on Sept. 3.
They fired their canon 13 times to honor the service members during the event.
